In this video, Fiona provides an overview of four of the Booking module enhancements that were delivered with Koha 24.05 and 24.11.

Item types can now be set as bookable by default. This was introduced in version 24.11 with Bug 35906. Previously items were made bookable at the item level. This is still possible and the bookable flag on the item record will take precedence and override the item type default.

Bug 38222 allows library staff to enter cancellation reasons when cancelling a booking request. This feature was also introduced in 24.11.

When creating a new booking, there is now a requirement to enter a pickup location. This feature was introduced in version 24.05 with Bug 36120.

Finally the video shows you the patron record and from 24.05, bookings are now visible in their own tab in the patron record. This was introduced by Bug 33737.
